Aelion Path is a body of independent research and analysis focused on how AI systems behave once they move beyond experimentation and become embedded in enterprise environments.
It examines why AI initiatives stall, how risk shifts as systems scale, and what leaders must be able to understand and explain when AI systems face scrutiny.
The term “AI systems” is used broadly. It refers not only to individual models or large language models, but to the full set of components that enable AI to operate in real environments.
This includes models, data pipelines, agentic workflows, integration layers, external tools and services, protocols, and the surrounding organizational and operational controls. It also includes the AI supply chain: the upstream and downstream dependencies that shape how systems are built, deployed, updated, and operated over time.
In practice, risk and accountability emerge from how these components interact, not from any single model in isolation.
This work is most relevant to leaders and teams operating AI systems at meaningful scale, particularly where accountability, risk, and regulatory considerations materially affect decision-making.
It is less focused on early experimentation and more on the realities of operating AI in complex organizations.
